Looking ahead.
Hope everyone survived Monday. Mine was tough after driving back to Alabama on Sunday. The weather certainly is shifting. Fall is here. I wouldn't be surprised to see a slight warm up but I doubt we reach 85 again. That last front that came in brought us some of the first real Canadian air of the season. Expect that trend to continue.

The high pressure bubble allowing cool nights and pleasant afternoons will weaken, and a warming trend will continue until the weekend. It will be gradual, and daytime highs will only reach the upper 70s to 80 before our next storm system brings daytime highs back to the mid 70s and slight storm chances (30-40%) for the weekend. The increasing humidity will only allow the nights to cool into the lower 50s.

These 2 pictures show the weekend system. The best chances for rain during the weekend are for Saturday Night and early Sunday.
Early Next Week
We could be facing more rain on Monday and Tuesday. It's a week away, but the GFS Model looks pretty sure of it. A low pressure system will come out of N Mexico and draw in Gulf moisture during Monday and Tuesday. The rain looks to hold off until Monday Night, and Tuesday looks like a wash. Time always tells.
